The second quarter of 2025 has been an interesting period for sandbox-like games in the United Kingdom, with various apps showing distinct trends. Here's a closer look at the top five games, based on Sensor Tower's data.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation saw a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at around $713K in late April. The app's downloads fluctuated, with a notable increase to 73K in late May. Active users steadily grew, reaching approximately 5.9M by the end of June.

Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! by Mojang demonstrated a decline in revenue, starting from $213K in early April and ending at about $119K. Downloads also saw a decrease, dropping from 8.5K to 4.7K, while active users showed some recovery towards the end of the quarter, finishing at 177K.

One State RP: Role Play Online from CHILLBASE LTD experienced a varied revenue trend, starting at $49K and ending near $39K. Downloads were highest at the beginning of the quarter, with 11K, and active users showed a slight increase towards the end, reaching 5.6K.

Finally, Melon: Sandbox by Payge Ltd showed a consistent revenue trend, closing the quarter at $9K. Downloads peaked mid-April at 15K but saw a decline thereafter. Active users increased steadily, reaching 263K by mid-June.
